Hi! I’m Ric, and welcome to my website! I specialize in helping aspiring metal guitarists break through limitations to unlock their full potential. As the creator of Malice Divine, my melodic black/death metal solo project, I’ve released two critically acclaimed albums and showcased my skills on Banger TV's "Shredders of Metal." I hold a degree in music from York University, which has provided me with a deep foundation in technique, theory, and composition.

My teaching philosophy focuses on depth and understanding—exploring the "why" behind technique, music theory, and composition. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, covering everything from learning songs and solos to technique exercises and composition. My goal is to guide students toward technical proficiency, confidence, and self-expression, with personalized feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards of musicianship.
